Savennières "l'AM" 2023

Jean-Claude Taddei has a new venture called Domaine de l’AM, making Savennières with a four of his business school professor friends. These are slightly more easygoing Savennières than his Maison Jaune cuvée — younger Chenin vines — but nonetheless full of intensity and verve. The "AM" stands for Anne-Madeleine, the owner of the small plot the group rents to farm their fruit.

Meant to be drunk young, this is less rich than the “Maison Jaune” Savennières bottling, but equally thirst-quenching — an electric high-acid thrill ride for your apéritifs!
