Brothers Romain and Damien Bouchard are at the forefront of the new Chablis, organically farming 29
hectares comprising Village, Premier Cru and rare Grand Cru holdings (small
plots in Vaudésir, Blanchots and Les Clos).
Fourth-generation growers who built their own domaine after their father Pascal retired
a decade ago, they instantly established themselves as rising stars for their free and expressive Chablis.
The diversity of plots give them a broad palette to work with, but there is a singular identity found throughout the brother’s wines fruit-forward and ripe, a far cry from the timid, lean and heavily sulfured bottles too often seen these days.
