A legendary 1983 Hontambère rom the famous Pouchégu stock, distilled by the late, brilliant Pierre Laporte. Bottled exclusively for Europe's most important Armagnac Festival in Germany and in the States here for the first time!

Tasting notes: 

The heavy bouquet plunges you into a cedar-paneled palace full of Cuban tobacco, black molasses and tropical Demerara glue. Complex incense hangs in the air. A palate filled with heavy raisin sweetness, dark chocolate and mocha, then cherry and strawberry jam round off the heavy, fruity body.
