Chenin Blanc CH 2023

Feather-light, citrusy Chenin Blanc, a "glou-glou" white wine. Guillaume‘s take on the emblematic Loire grape is more easy-going than its counterparts. Aged in fiberglass tanks (instead of oak barrels), bottled without filtration or fining — for a fresh, bright but textured wine that’s immediately enjoyable, lightly chilled.

About the winemaker: The Anjou region of the Loire likely has France's highest concentration of neo-vignerons, winemakers who turned to grape-growing as a second career. Guillaume Noire is no exception, having left his Parisian graphic design business  behind a decade ago for Rablay-sur-Layon, a small village that’s home to a group of cult producers making excellent micro-production Chenin Blanc.
