Absolue Terre 2019

We’d like to think we’re known now for having some excellent cult Champagne, and perhaps no one is more cult in our portfolio than Elise Déchannes. Elise makes magical zero-dosage Pinot Noirs in the Côte des Bar, a wild, wooded region in southern Champagne.

Absolue Terre  is 100% Pinot Noir from the 2019 harvest. Aged in terra cotta amphora and then bottle conditioned before disgorgement.

It is a classic Élise Dechannes champagne, at once freewheeling and refined, and shows why these are highly coveted by everyone in the wine world, from the diviest hipster Copenhagen wine bars toy dapper sommeliers in the three-star Michelin restaurants.
